A specially formed bio-activator preparation based on selected and purified yeast hulls. Provides noble nutrients; sterols and long chain fatty acids, which reduce VA production, and detoxifies the juice.
Offers growth factors; amino acids, vitamins and oligoelements that contribute to a correct yeast metabolism.
Aids in bringing a fermentation under duress to arrive at completion.
Creaferm can be added at the start of traditionally problematic ferments, or when there are signs that are ferment is slowing.
DOSAGE AND INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
The recommended CREA-FERM dosage varies:
⇒ In regular fermentations, from 5 to 10 g/hL
⇒ In stuck fermentations, from 10 to 50 g/hL
⇒ For the treatment of wines to adsorb Ocratoxin, from 10 to 50 g/hL
CREA-FERM can be used already during the preparation of the starter culture, during and towards the end of the fermentation, when the alcohol has its greatest inhibitory effect on the yeasts.
Alone or in association with other adsorbent coadjuvants, CREA-FERM is efficient for the reduction of the oxcratoxin level.
Note: For a proper alcoholic fermentation it is important that in the must the level of free amino nitrogen be >150-160 mg/L. The supply of free amino nitrogen is easily attained with the use of specific nutrients: ZIMOVIT, ZIMOVITT52 and NUTROZIM (see technical data sheet).
